Electronic Assembler
As an Electronic Assembler, you will be responsible for building our trainers from the circuit boards up to the cabinets or cases they are housed in. A qualified person would have keen attention to detail, willingness to learn and grow with the company.
Follow direction and schematics of trainer build book. Paying attention to detail; matching/identifying parts and correctly assembling onto trainer through soldering, basic hand tools and other tools supplied.
Production environment:
Clean, climate controlled. Individual workspace, all tools provided. Position is mostly sitting, some standing and walking.
Assembler will also be responsible for:
- Wiring; color coding, looping between guide pegs: following documentation, crimping/soldering wires.

Fabrication Technician
As a Fabrication Technician, you will be responsible for building our Automotive Trainers from the small components up to the frames or housing, including engines and car clips. A qualified person would have automotive repair experience, keen attention to detail, willingness to learn and grow with the company.
Follow automotive service manuals and wire schematics of trainer. Paying attention to detail; matching/identifying parts and correctly assembling onto trainer through soldering, welding, wiring, basic hand tools and other tools supplied.
Fabrication environment:
Shop space, clean, climate controlled. Individual workspace, all tools provided. Position involves sitting, standing, walking & lifting.
Fabricator will also be responsible for:
- Wiring; select and cut color-coded wires, following documentation & schematics, crimping/soldering wires.
- Tear down, rebuild, welding, and wiring of automotive & small engine parts
- Diagnose & repair engine mechanical & electrical components
- Full assembly and check-out/Testing of trainer
- Documenting progress of build
- Maintaining communication with supervisor of low supplies or issues

The Procurement Specialist will support the organization by maintaining appropriate levels of inventory by identifying and working with suppliers to negotiate delivery times and pricing and ensuring accurate and timely inventory available for manufacture..
Environment:
Clean, climate controlled. Position involves sitting, standing, walking & lifting, occasionally lifting up to 60 (Sixty) pounds.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Identifying manufacturing needs
- Identifying suppliers, and arranging delivery
- Preparing purchase orders and bid requests
- Adding received goods to inventory
- Maintain information systems and historical references
- Maintain orderly, efficient, and accurate inventory records
- Work with suppliers to expedite delivery of critical parts when necessary
- Analyzing supplier quotations and negotiating pricing and volume discounts
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree with 2 years of purchasing experience, OR Associates Degree with 7-10 years of purchasing experience

Product Representative

ATech Training is looking for someone with this combination of skills to join our team in a role that is a mix between a technical or inside sales role, a product management role, and a marketing role.
ATech Training Inc. designs and manufactures world leading trainers that enable delivery of automotive technician hands-on instruction to students, educating them on the skills of troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing automotive vehicles and the associated subsystems. The Product Representative will support the organization by interfacing with external customers, external product representatives, and internal production staff preparing quotations, receiving orders, and communicating order status along the way.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Establish current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and current customers as well as other individuals in a position to understand educational program requirements
- Respond to customer inquiries providing product information and assessing customer needs
- Represent the company at various trade shows and training events to promote product
- Prepare product quotations in a timely manner using available product specifications, customer requirements and bid procedures, gathering shipping and any applicable resale information.
- Be the voice of the customer with internal production staff to help set proper manufacturing priorities
- Receive customer purchase orders and create internal Sales Orders referencing price lists and product literature
- Follow up with customers concerning outstanding invoices
- Investigate and resolve customer issues by working with production and shipping teams and serving as the voice of the customer
- Gather and prepare sales reports and perform analysis of product sales, customer feedback, and trade show information to provide feedback and guidance to the rest of the organization on new product development and production / shipping processes
- Recommend product improvements or portfolio additions by monitoring the market and competition and gathering market intelligence on competitive products, market pricing pressures, product merchandising
- Help develop effective sales strategies and promotional programs to increase sales opportunities within current market and in parallel markets
- Maintain customer sales records and contact information
- Participate in development of operation manuals and product specifications
Required Qualifications:
- Associate Degree with 3-5 years of experience in sales, technical sales, inside sales, product management, product marketing, or similar role
